For the anniversary year of the town of Schmallenberg, the support association of the municipal kindergarten Zwergenland e.V., together with the youth art school Kunsthaus alte Mühle e.V., is offering a special art project. Children aged three and over and adults can work in the large studio of the youth art school. The programme is creative, artistic work in the print workshop. Different techniques such as material printing or monotype turn paper and paint – with lots of fun – into a book entitled “Meine schöne Stadt” (My Beautiful Town), which will be presented to the public during the anniversary year. The children do not work alone but in teams with an adult: mum, dad, grandma, grandpa, aunt, uncle… anyone who enjoys creative work is welcome to come along. The project is led by the artist Julija Ogrodowski from Warstein. The creative sessions take place from 6 May to 3 June, every Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and from 4:15 to 6:15 pm at the youth art school. More information about the JUGENDKUNSTSCHULE Schmallenberg
