Under guidance, the children experiment with building materials and discover the joy of working with their hands. They may take the small models and their first experimental artworks home. For larger figures, a wire frame with light filling material inside is built first. This gives the desired shape and keeps the piece from becoming too heavy. The sculpture is then modelled on it with concrete, which is applied with a small spatula. Once it has hardened, the surface of the object is painted in colour.
Afterwards, the finished art objects are exhibited in the school yard.
